Having spent a long time in Morocco recovering from various "medical intrusions" Jim Bamber has released a 3rd charity CD..."Songs for Salaam/ Shalom" all in aid of a radio station trying to get Jews and Muslims talking to each other.... oh and DANCING too.... a very interesting cause! Recorded at Shireshead Studio.... the music features Michal Nahman (Hebrew vocals) and L'Orchestre Lammounasra (Marrakesh)
Bamjimba is also in the process of inventing a new music genre "MISCELLANEOUS" (as in file under miscellaneous) This new form incorporates the influences of:- Afrobeat, Acid Jazz, Blues, Bhangra, Country & Western, Cuban, Calypso, Dubstep, Eastern and English Folk, Funk, Grunge, Garage, Hip-Hop, Highlife, Indie, Jazz, Juju, Kerrang Metal, Latin, Loopy Loo, Mardi Gras, Mambo, New-Wave, Original, Punk, Party, Question Mark (whatever that was?), Rave, Reggae, Ritmo, Soul, Tantric, Top-Ten, Underground, Vanguard, Vavavoom, Wicked, Waltz, X-Rated, Young, Zoo-ological Zap! etc. etc.....
